Katarina Witt was born December 3, 1965, was raised in Staaken. She's always seeking new opportunities and challenges. Through this process she's gained expertise in a myriad of areas such as production, figure skating performing, presentation and writing. After her 1988 World Championships Katarina Witt ends her successful amateur career for the time being. In the next three years she'll be performing in North America, and Canada the first of her professional shows with Brian Boitano, the Calgary Olympic Champion as well as the Calgary Olympic Champion World Champion. Due to the popularity of the program, "Witt and Boitano Skating", that Madison Square Garden is now completely sold out for the premiere figure skating show that has been held in New York in 10 years. Between 1993 and 1994 she re-entered amateur sport and took part at her 3rd Olympic Games. For 10 years, she performed in through the US as well as Canada through the television shows "Stars on Ice", "Champions on Ice", and participated in numerous professional events around the world. As a producer with her company WITT, she's in charge for a variety of international ice shows which are designed, developed, headlined and filmed. This company has set high standards for the creation of skating-themed shows including "Divas On Ice", "Katarina & Friends", and "Enjoy the Stars".
